Spirit looks like a handsome brown/grey lab mix! He has been waiting far too long for a home of his own. He is a silly and playful boy with a lot of energy and lots of love to give! He came to us as a stray so we don't have any background information on him. He does play well with other dogs, however you should always dog test if you decide to adopt. When he arrived at the shelter, Spirit had a severe leg fracture that required surgery. In the future, he may need pain medication occasionally, and he might need further surgery at his new owners' expense. More information will be provided with an approved application. His estimated DOB is 12/1/21.
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
