Hi, I'm Art! My goofiness may in and of itself be a work of art! (Get it?!) I'm so silly and love to do zoomies! Sometimes I have a hard time being still. I hope my new family has a lot of time to play with me! I'm smart too! I already know how to sit and can't wait to learn more. I love cookies, and definitely will work for cookies! I have a friend here that I play with in the yards, so I would be open to a meet & greet with your pup if you have one at home! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
