My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Gentle Giant. The King of Splooters. The Perfect Gentleman. He believes he's a lap dog. Extremely well-behaved, knows commands, won't destroy things. Protector with a soft side. Eager for a family home, anxious in the kennel. Not a fan of other animals. Dreams of couch cuddles and TV time. Loyal, chill, not just a dog, Buddy is a legend in waiting.

Buddy is available for "foster-to-adopt" or for a Paw Pass Adventure! A paw pass = a hall pass for dogs, either for the day or for an overnight! For more information about fostering Buddy or for taking him on a Paw Pass Adventure, TEXT 513-687-7598.

More about this shelter

In addition to being the official agency that oversees stray dog control in the community, spca cincinnati offers many programs and services, including animal adoptions, animal cruelty investigations, spay/neuter and veterinary services, companion animal and wildlife rescue, dog licensing, foster care program, obedience training, and the area’s most extensive humane education program. spca cincinnati also works to introduce animals into the lives of people in our community, including those in hospitals, nursing homes, children’s homes, and schools, and works with victims of domestic violence to both provide shelter for their animals, and to help them rehabilitate.
