My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sara is a Poicephalus (Senegal) who is hand-tame and super-friendly! She is not a noisy girl but enjoys whistling and talking, saying “Hey Sara!” and “Come here!” in the sweetest little voice. Sara is very smart and will learn new tricks if you reward her, especially with safflower seeds, her favorite. Her foster family is even working on harness-training her. Sara is content in her cage, but she is also eager to spend time outside it. She enjoys flying around and would like a spacious area to use her wings. She likes riding on shoulders, receiving head scritches, and throwing her food everywhere. Sara has a history of preferring women over men, but this brave girl recently flew to a male in her foster home and let him hold her! Would this calm, confident bird be a good match for your family? Adoption fee: $150.
