Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aspen is energetic, but still well behaved. She loves to be with people indoors and outside. She has a lot of personality as well and loves to be pet. Aspen loves the water, and belly rubs.
Aspen has some triggers with other dogs, especially females. We believe this is because her previous owner did not properly socialize her with other dogs, besides the dog she lived with.
We recommend if you have dog, that Aspen and him/her meet first. Proper socialization is very important.
She came to us with another dog she lived with, Ace. Their owner had to surrender them because of a bad allergy. They were with the family, who had a little girl, for over 2 years. The family had all good things to say about her.
Aspen comes when she is called, and is very smart. She is well mannered, and we have seen her be social with other dogs, as well as obedient. Again, she would just need to be properly introduced to another dog in the house, and possibly worked with when she encounters other dogs. Her triggers have not been consistent so we know there is great hope for Aspen. She is a very sweet dog.
