Colonel was found abandoned in a park. We took him in on Father’s Day 3 years ago and have celebrated his “gotcha day “ with him every year. However from the start I knew I was very allergic to him. This past year it has become unbearable. I can not live on antibiotics and other medications just to keep him here. I have never been allergic to any other dog we have or had. Colonel has been trained at Landhiem Training School, he normally rings a bell to go outside, he is on a free feed schedule, he does NOT get on furniture, but he DOES sleep in bed with you! If you leave the house he is most comfortable in his “bed” or Kennel but otherwise he stays in Place (runs to safe mat and stays), Sits, Down (to lay down), Shakes, Gentle Gentle (to very gently slowly nibble a treat from your/child’s hand), Off (not to jump and get off something/someone), Bed (kennel)! All command words are Capitalized. He is not perfect but he is a great snuggler and loves playing in the yard and running! 🐾
