My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, friends! My name is Mr. Buttons, and I am a 12-year old Toy Poodle Mix who weighs 9.8 pounds. If you’re looking for a sweet, mature gentleman then I’m the guy for you!

 

I am described as curious, playful, and kind. My favorite activities include shopping around town, taking selfies, having zoomies, playing with my hedgehog toy, and cuddling up with my foster family! I love my canine foster siblings so much, I always give them kisses all over their faces. I am completely house trained and crate trained, although I prefer to be out and about. I have never been destructive so I am trusted to hang out in my foster home. 

 

I don’t think of myself as a senior pup because I have so much energy and am very active. However, I do have some health issues, but don’t worry they never stop me! I have a grade 4 out of 6 heart murmur, but no other symptoms along with that. I had an oronasal fistula, but that was repaired all thanks to my loving rescue, Wish Bone. My foster family has noticed I don’t always respond to sounds and believes that I am hard of hearing, but I do feel and hear some things. I hope this doesn’t make you change your mind about me, I really do have lots of love to give. I cannot wait to meet you! I promise I am cute as a button!

His minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
