This sweet boy is almost 6 years old and has been looking for a home for over a 2 years! He is a 62 lb sharpei, born of an accidental litter and then passed from home to home until he was sold to a very scary illegal puppymill, meat market/ “shelter” in South Korea. He was then rescued and waited for two years with no luck in finding a home 😭

Thats where we came in! Cocoas rescue in South Korea asked for help getting him over here, due to him being a short muzzle breed it is way more difficult and expensive to fly him over. We fundraised (his ticket alone was over $3,000) and in less than a month we were able to get him here!!

Cocoa has been adjusting great to LA and has already been a hit at adoption events! He learned that he loves meeting new people, because they useually come with treats, his favorite! He is a very sweet and mellow boy who is eager to learn! He mastered sit and paw his first week with his foster! He prefers calm dogs and loves to play fetch.
