My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Albert! Albert is a black kitten with a white crest on his chest, just 11 months old (as of 2.11.22) who was found under a Good Samaritan's porch with his mom and 4 siblings.

Albert loves to romp and play with his siblings, but can sometimes be a loner, instead choosing to sit high up on the cat tree by himself and just enjoy the solitude. He loves to climb, and wrestle with brother, Windsor, and loves his canned food.

Albert's perfect home would be a quiet, low activity home with older kids over the age of 12 years old. He is still a bit skittish when he hears an unfamiliar noise, He has been neutered, had 2 FVRCP vaccines, will have a rabies if 4 months old or older at time of adoption, has been tested for FIV and feline leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you would like a little royalty in your house, please email us at GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420. His mom, Amelia is also still; available. Huge discount for both.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
