Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Kimama! She was born in 1996 and guessed to be a Tennessee Walker cross mare. Her name means Butterfly and is very fitting for her. When we rescued her out of the Texas auction, Kimama was so malnourished that you could count every bone in her body, severely dehydrated and so badly sunburned her skin wrinkled. She was in such bad shape that we were afraid she wouldn’t make the journey home. With food, a ton of vet care and lots of love, Kimama emerged like a butterfly and turned into the sweetest and most beautiful mare!
We don’t know much about her old life but we don’t believe she was handled much and had to learn many knew skills. Kimama leads, picks up her feet and is learning to accept getting a bath but she will need a patient person to continue her education in life. Due to her age and arthritis, Kimama is pasture sound only and requires equioxx daily and benefits from massage therapy. She would thrive in a home with an experienced handler so she can continue learning new skills. She is also available for foster! Contact us today if you would like to give Kimama the best years of her life!
