Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Anderson, a very sweet 2 year old, 7 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in McKinney, TX. Only Texas residents will be considered.
Yup, it is me Anderson, It has been about 5 weeks since I last told you about what’s been going on in my life. I’m still searching for my Easter Basket of eggs to find in my very own back yard. It would be pawsome if I had a friend about my size and age to play with too. Oh yeah, I now weigh a perfect 9.2 pounds. So I am still torturing FM with the toys except now I’ve been sneaking them outside. She’s trying to teach me to bring them back in from outside, hehehe we shall see how that goes. Still learning this potty training thing. I do wet my belly band every once in a while. I still love getting my body rubs but I am my own independent type of dog. I will very rarely sleep with FM and if I do it’s not for long cuz of the other pups snoozing on the bed too. I still love playing chase outside with the other dogs and using my nose to explore. There are so so many smells I never got a chance to smell. Plus everything outside is coming alive with colors and pretty flower smells. I am learning this leash walking thing too. FM sometimes forgets I only knew what a boy dog is supposed to do when he is a “breeder dog”. So she keeps telling me that I’m learning more dog stuff every day.
Thunderstorms scare me so much. I start shaking and want to be near FM cuz I feel safer there. Sometimes she wraps me up like a burrito and she walks, rocks and sings to me to try and calm me down. She needs to pick a better song other than “Rock a bye Baby”.
Also I am very shy and it might take me more time than usual to warm up to you. I haven’t met a lot of kind or nice hoomans so I am still figuring you all out. So if I still sound like your kind of Easter Basket Best Friend you can fill out an application and that link is at the end of this write up or contact FM @ stickhors@gmail.com
My last request would be,,,,that if you can find it in your heart and wallet to make a donation to United Yorkie Rescue it would be PAWSOME. UYR rescued 14 breeder surrenders in the first week of January. They all needed examinations, immunizations, heartworm tests, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, spays or neuters, microchips and have their teeth check. A couple of us did have Heartworms and treating that costs a pretty penny. They are still rescuing breeder and owner surrenders. If you can donate please do because that way United Yorkie Rescue and you can help them help more kids that will come their way. It’s so easy peasy to do. You can just use the PayPal link that is at the bottom of my page. Thank you in advance💜💝💞for helping us with our veterinary costs.
