My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We witnessed this pup being dumped on Sierra Highway a few weeks ago. and watched in agony as he was chasing the car that left him down the highway. Of course we stopped and picked it up. We did search for a possible family in the off chance he was stolen but no one ever came forward.
We have named him "Lucky" Luca. He just went for his first vet visit, and our vet thinks he is barely a year old. He seems to have quite a bit of Red Heeler in him, which makes perfect sense since he is sweet-natured, affectionate, and highly intelligent. He is learning new things as fast as we can teach them. He has one more vet visit to go, and then we will be searching for just the perfect home for him.
We do require visits here to our rescue in Agua Dulce, CA, and in person home checks so adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles CA area. You can see videos of Luca and all of our other adoptable dogs on our Instagram page; @thebrittanyfoundation.
