This handsome hunk is Niko, a 4-year-old/56.3-pound Pit Bull. He's a cuddly guy who loves being near his special people. Words that best describe Niko include friendly, outgoing, happy, playful, quiet, and loyal. Niko is house-trained. His foster family lets him stay loose in the house, and he's a perfect gentleman and never destroys anything nor gets into trouble. His favorite hobbies include walks, running around the yard, car rides, playing with toys, and other dogs. Niko knows "sit" and is working on "stay" and not jumping on people. Because this sweetheart likes to jump, he'd likely do best with older children. His foster thinks Niko would thrive in a home with another dog for company, plenty of activity to exercise his body and his mind, and a fenced yard. His minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
