Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Lady" was found running along state highway 288 in Pearland, Texas. The kind people who picked her up took her to the vet to see if she was microchipped, (she was not), nor was she wearing a collar or identifying tags. After several weeks of looking for her owners unsuccessfully, she was surrendered to us and is now available to be adopted by a new family. She is a somewhat shy and timid girl, still learning to trust humans. We are guessing she has not known a lot of love or comfort in her life. She enjoys snuggling in her bed blankets and is poddy trained. She gets along great with all the other dogs at the rescue (small, medium and large!) and doesn't go after our chickens or other birds. We would like to see her adopted into a family with other dogs so she has playmates and a chance to socialize, the vet estimates she is a young girl, about 1 year old. This sweetheart has a heart of gold, she is trainable and obedient. She will make a wonderful family pet. Adoption fee covers her spay, first round of vaccinations, heartworm test and micro-chipping. Her spay is scheduled for April 14, after which we can transport her for adoption anywhere in the U.S. on Southwest Airlines.
