My name is June!

Any time of year is the perfect time to meet our super-sweet June! She has been with us for more than a year, through no fault of her own, and that's way too long for a dog with so much love to give. She lost her home because her person lost his, too, but she's a happy girl who loves people, including kids. She's housetrained and gets along well with other dogs here at the shelter, so bring yours over for a meet-and-greet! She walks well on her leash, as you can see on her video, and enjoys the dog park. She's also very smart -- she knows how to sit, shake and lie down for treats, and can catch treats in the air. We believe she's a Lab mix. She's an adult dog, with a black coat and white "socks," along with bright, golden eyes. She's quite active and plays well in the yard. She's an affectionate "leaner" who leans in for all the loving she can get, and she'll happily give you kisses on request. She's spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots, and ready to go home with you. We think she'd be great for a family or an active single owner.
