Home for the Holidays - Adoption Fees Reduced if Adopted by november 10th!

Chikis is a 13-year-old Chiweenie with a heart as golden as his years. Chikis has been patiently waiting for his forever home for a long time, and he’s ready to find a family who’ll appreciate his charm, loyalty, and quiet companionship.

Though he takes a little time to settle in, Chikis will blossom into an affectionate and devoted companion with just a little patience. He’s looking for a calm, quiet home without children where he can relax and enjoy life at his own pace.

Chikis’s Ideal Home:

-A tranquil environment with patient humans who understand his need for space
-A family willing to respect his boundaries, especially when he’s enjoying downtime in his bed (he can get a little grumpy/snappy). No one likes having their nap disturbed!

While Chikis may show a touch of grumpiness if startled from his relaxation, he more than makes up for it with his kisses and kind-hearted nature once he feels secure.

This senior pup deserves a loving home where he can spend his golden years being cherished and loved.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Take the Pet Home

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
