This girl has overcome 6 months of heartworm treatment, and is now ready to find her forever home! Here’s what her fosters have to say about her:

🐾 Gertie is a great girl who will always keep you laughing with her silly faces and antics!
🐾 She is mostly a couch potato once she’s comfortable in her environment, but also will follow you around like your shadow
🐾 She LOVES walks, and is working on her leash walking. She is just a strong girl!
🐾 She has done excellent with the dogs she’s met, and is mostly just indifferent to them
🐾 She loves car rides! She likes to rest her head on your seat the whole ride
🐾 She is crate trained
🐾 She really loves toys, and will chase a ball for hours!
🐾 She loves meeting new people. She even loves going to the vet, and is very tolerant when being poked and prodded!
🐾 She is estimated to be around 5-6 years old and is around 60 lbs
🐾 We are unsure how she would do with cats
