My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty girl is Trixie! She's a 25.9 pound Terrier mix who recently celebrated her first birthday. She's a bit shy at first...and warms up fairly quickly.

Trixie is a quick learner and is getting the hang of going outside. She's making progress on potty training. Although Trixie is great in her crate, she loves to sleep with her humans. She insists on sleeping by your head, in between the pillows.
This happy-go-lucky girl just wants to do whatever her person is doing.

Trixie is staying in a foster home with several dogs, and it takes about 30 minutes for her to warm up to a new dog. Her foster parents feed Trixie separately from the other dogs. She gets along with the cats in her foster home.

Trixie is a smart girl who learned "sit" in less than 5 minutes! She loves playing fetch with a ball, brings it back, and puts it down. She loves playing with toys and chewing on them. 

Although Trixie hasn't yet met any children or strangers, her foster parents believe she'll be OK in most environments.

Trixie's foster mom shared: "This girl is the total package. She loves to play if you want to play, but more than anything, she just wants to be in your lap and won't leave until you get up. She'll be by your side everywhere you go."

Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
