My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gin is from the booze crew litter and he is being fostered in San Diego. His mama is Mama Matua! Here's a little bit about their story:

We rescued Mama Matua from Avenal Animal Shelter. She was scheduled to be euthanized as the shelter is an overpopulated, rural shelter that completely lacks medical resources.We pulled her right away and were planning to transport her to her foster in San Diego the next day. But within eight hours she gave birth to her babies in her transporter/temporary foster’s bathroom! Once the babies and Mama were stable we headed to San Diego and transported everyone to their wonderful foster home.

The babies were born 2/27/23 and will be officially available for adoption when they are 8 weeks old, but we are accepting applications now. We believe these puppies are husky/shepherd mixes. Breed experienced homes are preferred. These guys are going to be active adventure buddies! We would love to see them go to homes that like to exercise, know how to care for fluffy coats, and will ultimately set them up for success.
