My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are looking for a new home for her 3-year old, schnauzer/poodle mix, Gertrude Mae (AKA Gertie). She's 3 years old and will turn 4 on 12/10. She's 17lbs and does not shed. She's a very, very sweet girl and is extremely friendly toward people, children and other dogs. I think she would do well with cats also, but has not lived with one before.

She is moderate to high energy and would love to hike, run and adventure with you. She also loves to chill on the couch and cuddle with her people. She does have separation anxiety and some behavioral issues such as counter surfing and occasionally pooping on the rug when she doesn't get enough attention. She will need a home with someone who is willing to work on her with these things and the ability to give her the attention and exercise she needs. I think she would do best in a home with another dog to play with and/or with someone who doesn't spend a lot of time away from their home and/or works from home.
