Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lt. Dan Is a favorite among everyone at our vet’s office! He gives hugs to his people and tons of kisses. He is a great guy who loves playing with younger dogs and is very happy when he is given a new chew bone to keep him occupied. This boy is such a sweetheart and so deserves a family to spoil him and love him. He will be best in a home without young children because he is still learning not to nip to get a human’s attention. He is located at our rescue in Arkansas but transport is available to the east coast. If you would like to learn more about Lt. Dan and potentially adopt him, please fill out an adoption application on dirtroadrescues.org and we will contact you.

All animals are checked by a veterinarian before being listed to determine they are in good health.
I have an application that must be completed by potential adopters. I must obtain information to speak to your veterinarian for current animal records. If you are a new pet owner, I will require three references, one being your employer.
Once the application is approved, transportation options will be discussed.

More about this rescue
First and foremost, I am an animal lover and think they all deserve a loving home. I live in a rural area and find abandoned animals often or low income families that need help with pet overpopulation. I find homes for puppies and pay for spay/neuter of parents with the puppy adoption fees. I also help local shelters when they are at maximum capacity, which is often. Rescued pets are by far the most loving and loyal, and I want them all to experience being a pampered pet!
