My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a little older dog to be your next companion.  Don't miss out meeting Violet.  She is eight years old which means you don't have to deal with all those puppy stages. Violet came to us having been abandoned and neglected.  During her stay here she has thrived and regained trust with humans and other dogs and currently is learning to walk on the treadmill to stay out of the heat.  She would love nothing more than to hang out with her human, be taken on walks in cooler weather, and to cuddle up in her own soft bed. She also enjoys car rides, rolling on her back and getting belly rubs.  Violet is spayed, up to date with her shots, on heart worm preventative and has had senior bloodwork completed.  She does well around our shelter dogs, but a home where she can be the only dog would be ideal.  Please consider fostering or adopting this loving senior girl.
