Penny was pulled from the shelter after she came in as a stray and during her stray hold she gave birth to 4 puppies. The puppies have all found great homes and now it’s Penny’s turn. She was definitely a street dog, running scared and never knowing what it is to have a place to call home. She was VERY scared and unfamiliar with having a safe/indoor home before being rescued. Thankfully her foster mom is experienced and was able to help Penny settle. She is slow to trust but once she is given some patience and love, she bonds and you have a friend for life. She is terrific with other dogs and cats. Kids, fine as long as they are older and able to read her to give her the time and space necessary to help her feel safe and not pressured.
She has a fabulous snuggle tooth too!
