Searching for a petite young princess to add to your family?? Tinsel would love a chance.

She has spent a majority of her life in the shelter environment, over 7 months. In her foster she is JUST getting the opportunity to learn all of the perks of being someones beloved pet. Because of her shakey and unknown upbringing she needs time as the only pet in the home. Give her some time, trust, and training and that could change!!

Tinsel knows basic commands and is potty trained! She is so snuggly and sweet. We know her perfect family is out there waiting to give her all the love and attention she so desperately deserves. She just needs a chance.

We have monthly adoption events at Lume in Petersburg and Tractor Supply in Dundee, MI.

More about this shelter

We are a family run rescue that we have established on our property. We pull from local animal control and shelters, as well as owner surrenders and high risk shelters. At Hard Licker Ranch we operate in small packs so that we can socialize the dogs as well as to understand the most about their personalities. We have 2 barns that are temperature controlled, and the dogs have 24 hour access to come in and out through weathered doggy doors. We do it to make life better for every dog that comes into our care and give them a second chance. We also do community outreach and TNR. Our rescue is also a Sanctuary for barn cats who need a home!
