My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kevin has been with us since he was only a few weeks old. We rescued him from HCAS after he was surrendered by his owners with a severe injury to his right hind leg. Unfortunately his leg was not salvageable and had to be amputated.
But it did not take much for Kevin to adjust to a new life on 3 legs - in fact he’s doing amazing! Kevin has been in board and train for the past few months and has been anxiously awaiting for a forever home!
He is a ball of energy and loves to keep busy!
He does great with other dogs and is so eager to learn - he has impressed his trainer very much with just how fast this boy catches onto things.
He has been working on:
- door manners
- sit
- stay
- place
- leave it
- leash manners
Did we also mention he does great with other dogs? His favorite part of the day is group play and taking a dip in the doggy pool! He also enjoys going on walks and would probably love going on hikes! Kevin was also raised with kids and he loved them so much but he just wasn’t aware how big he was and would do better in a home with older children - he gets super excited and can knock littles over.
