A quiet soul with a blossoming heart, that`s Marigold!
This sweet flower was rescued from the streets. While with her rescuer, she got comfortable with human company and even made a feline friend! Though quiet, Marigold has been revealing her soft and sweet side at EHS, showing she is ready to settle into a loving forever home.
ABOUT MARIGOLD: - At shelter - Young adult, domestic shorthair, female - Marigold loves quiet time and enjoys lounging in cozy spots like her cubby or by the window. - She takes her time adjusting to new people, preferring a gentle approach and sometimes a back-scratcher over direct petting. - Occasionally seeks attention and enjoys playful activities like swatting at string toys or brushes. - Marigold is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans. - Marigold is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help her become more comfortable around people. - Marigold is spayed, house-trained, not declawed, is microchipped and has received core vaccinations
MARIGOLD`S IDEAL HOME: - A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children. - Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Marigold settle into her new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Marigold with a successful transition to her forever home - Marigold shares her current space with other cats and could do well with another cat in the house to help her along.
With the right balance of love and understanding, Marigold can blossom into a gentle, affectionate companion. She’s patiently waiting at EHS for a family to help her grow and thrive. Could she be the perfect match for your home? Apply for her today!
