My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Journey is a 2 year old mini Australian shepherd/blue heeler mix with a blue Merle coat. She is bi-eyed, one brown and the other marbled with blue. She has not been fixed yet. When we got her a few months ago, she had just gone into a heat cycle and we just haven’t had the chance get it done. She has never had any litters.

She knows basic commands and tricks. However, when it comes to walking on a leash she has a lot of work to do. She is very alert and makes a great watch dog.

The biggest drawback and reason for our ultimate decision to rehome her is that she is not good with kids or other dogs. It’s likely she was traumatized by a small child as a puppy and not socialized as gets very defensive and growls at them way too often for comfort. She also doesn’t get along with any female dogs she’s been around and only small males.

She is such an overall good dog for the right person or couple. We hate to see her go but just can’t risk anything happening to one of our babies.
