Our staff and volunteers LOVE Charlie! He's such a silly and fun guy who will bring a lot of love and laughter to his future home. Charlie is the perfect combo of playful and calm - with some outbursts of zoomies and hilarious "Tigger" pouncing with his toys. He'll happily entertain himself by tossing his favorite stuffie in the air, but he loves to play with his human and canine friends. He can also coexist with cats! Sounds pretty perfect, right?!

This 2.5-year old German Shepherd mix is super smart and eager to please. He knows "sit," "lay down," "shake," and "other paw." Charlie is house trained, but he is not a fan of a crate. That being said, his past foster parents were able to let him roam freely because he's such a good boy!

Charlie is a total sweetheart and we think he'll do well with kids. He is still working on greeting people with his paws on the ground. Due to the fact that he is a 67 pound ball of energy when he's ready to play, we believe he will do best with kids over the age of 8 years old.

One other thing you need to know about Charlie - this boy can jump a 6 foot fence. However, he does well if you supervise him on a tie-out or if you take him for walks. He loves his walks!
