My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miranda is a beautiful 9 1/2lb AKC (with papers) Apricot Toy Poodle.
She will be 3 years old at the end of June. She is a sweetheart, and will be a very loyal companion.
She is up to date on vaccines, had a dental and is spayed. She also has a certificate of pedigree from the AKC, this is a well bred Poodle.

Miranda is timid when she first meets new people but warms up quickly, she loves gentle children and has been raised around them.
She does not like other dogs as much and we will only adopt her into an only dog home, no cats.

Miranda needs a family that wants an extremely loyal dog who will give her lots of love and attention and take her everywhere with them.
. She is totally potty trained, past the puppy stage and is trust worthy left in a home for short periods.
. She is an old soul, you look into her eyes and you know she knows everything and speaks volumes to you just with that look. I don't say that about many Poodles but she is one of 'them' I just felt an unusal connection with her immediately.

She would train well as a Therapy dog or even possibly as a service dog because she seems to sense her humans needs and wants. Just an exceptional little girl, with a heart just waiting to give it to her forever human.
She does not bark (as yet) and takes everything in her stride. She likes to sit parrot style on your shoulder when you are on the couch.

Requirements to adopt Miranda

* Be home some or all of the day

* Have had a Poodle or small dog experience

* Miranda must be an only dog

* Let her be your full time companion

* Must have a physical fully fenced in yard if you have children, no exceptions

Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
