My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basmati is an energetic young boy who is always on the go and finding ways to entertain himself. Play time is his biggest motivator and he loves any toy he can get his paws on. He comes over to say hi often, but he is also pretty good about just hanging out near you while not being completely overwhelming even though he is a shadow cat that wants to know what you’re up to.

Because of his energetic style, Basmati would do well in a home with another kitty around to get that energy out (cough, Ricearoni). But he is a bit of a rough and tumble guy and may not be the best match for a cat that’s going to take physical play personally.

This funny boy has a bouncy personality and if he’s even the least bit startled or uncertain he poofs his tail. His foster calls it, “puffed rice.”
