Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rosie! Rosie is being fostered in CT and is available for meet and greets pending application approval! If you're looking for an intelligent, curious, affectionate and loyal furry best friend then Rosie is your girl! True to the shepherd breed she is smart, alert, likes activity is is very responsive to her caregivers. We'd love a home for Rosie that can take her on daily outings such as walks or hikes so that she can maintain that sharp mind and have the proper outlet for mental and physical stimulation. She walks great on leash and loves to run and explore when given the opportunity so a fenced yard would be great for her. She experienced her first snowfall here and had so much fun zooming around in it. As much as she likes activity she also likes quality down time with her people and will lovingly lay beside you, occasionally raising her paw when she would like to be pet. She has an endearing quality of moving some items around, like your socks, or a piece of clothing or a small bag. She has not been destructive at all, I guess she just feels some of these items belong in a different spot lol! Rosie has been in foster care in CT since the end of February, is house-trained and has warmed up to her foster parents quickly. She can still be a bit shy, yet sweet, when meeting new people and in new places, however, we already see it becoming a bit easier for her every day the more she is exposed. We're estimating her birth date to be around 2021-2022. Her weight is around 50 lbs. She's up to date with vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped and heartworm negative. If interested in meeting Rosie, please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org for an application.
