My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zeno!

This handsome hunk of a dog is searching for juuuuust the right place to call home. Zeno is a stunning dutch shepherd mix with an estimated birthday of 01/31/2021, weighing in at a solid 70lbs

Zeno is one of our longer residents, so we've had plenty of time to get to know him! We asked members of our Dog Team what some of their favorite things about Zeno are, and they said "I love his energy level, he is always ready to run and play," "He thinks he's a five pound lap dog who loves to snuggle and is so, so loving," "The way he plays with other dogs is so goofy and funny to watch," "He always has a big smile, and it's fun to watch him splash around in the pool!". "He is absolutely toy crazy, the boy loves his toys!"

Not only is Zeno a crowd favorite amoung the staff at the shelter, but he has recently become a favorite for playgroups with other dogs too. Although not every dog can keep up with his seemingly endless drive to run around and play, Zeno has found a group of pups that he fits into like a missing puzzle piece. Although we always require a meet and greet if you have any other dogs in the family, we think Zeno would make a perfect new brother to a playful pup. Zeno has also proven to be a smart boy all the way to his core, he knows his name, some basic commands, and is treat motivated like no other. Zeno does great with kids, but due to his size and energy level we recommend no little ones under 10 years or so. He is not suited to a home with any cats.

Zeno is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $125
