My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midge is a shy, timid sweet adult dog who takes a minute or two to warm up to people approaching her. Once she trusts you, she is in your lap looking for kisses.

She is unique looking dog, the vets tagged her as a hound-mix. She has short legs and only weighs 28lbs.

Midge is very much a couch potato once she settles in the home and loves the attention given to her. She is a velcro dog and will follow you wherever you go inside the home. Midge does have separation anxiety and would do best in a home where people are home more than not.

Midge is being treated for Cauliflower ears at this time and has undergone surgery on the left ear. Surgery will be done on the right ear in 5 weeks time. (2/17/2023 update) Midge is a deaf dog.
