Meet Sasha, this pretty little girl is a Pitbull /Dalmatian mix. Born approximately May 1st 2022, she is in search of her forever home. Sasha will do best in a home with at least one other playful canine companion. She is cat???, dog???and kid ??friendly (over age 5 for children please) She is very much a Velcro dog, loves close snuggles with her people, especially at night(yes, she sleeps with her people), she snores when sleeping ? and will smack her lips and wiggle when dreaming. She is crate trained but her preference is free roam. She is not a fan of car rides ?, needs work on her leash manners and is a huge fan of public speaking ????. She’s a big fan of WWE ????style play and sounds LOUD when wrestling around with her canine siblings. She needs a durable companion. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
