A tale of two sisters - born in the shelter, Astrid and her sister Iris started out rough with a mother who was not in great health but worked hard to keep them alive until help could be found. But despite being in a shelter and starting out their lives with all their health needs met and taken care of, they had one thing against them that to this day they are still fighting. They were born as black dogs. Most commonly overlooked in shelters, they were starting life with a struggle. Their siblings were able to go on transport as they got older but unfortunately these two have not been so lucky. Now at 10 months old they are still in the shelter searching for a family to love them as they deserve! Both very happy go lucky and playful, these two would love nothing more than a family so they do not have to celebrate their first birthday in the shelter they were born in.
