My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our shelter staff are devastated that sweet Cora was returned to us after being adopted in 2023. We thought she'd found her forever home, but now we have a second chance to find her the perfect match.

Cora longs for a structured home where she can feel safe and secure. She needs an active family who will take her on daily walks and provide plenty of exercise and stimulation. She's a curious girl who loves exploring and sniffing all the sights and smells!

What breaks our hearts is that Cora greets us with a wagging tail and sweet smile every day, eager to please and love. She deserves a home that will cherish her forever.

Will you be Cora's forever family? Learn more and fill out a pre-approval form on our website: www.nokillarc.org. Let's find Cora her true forever home!

Additional adoption info

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokillarc.org.

Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption.

If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references.

If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you!

If you cannot keep your pet adopted from Animal Resource Center, you MUST return the pet to us.
