Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorable Shih Tzu is named Bear. Sweet Bear is 6 years old. He is a great little dog that loves attention and being petting. If you want a dog that will follow you everywhere, loves affection, and is sweet as can be - then Bear is the dog for you.
Bear's owner passed away so he and another dog were bounced from home to home and finally taken to the local shelter. It is surprising how happy and mild mannered he is after all the transitions he has had to make. His owner passed away so he needs a new home. Please consider giving this boy a great loving family home.
This dog is crate trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, heart worm negative, on flea and heart worm preventative, and micro-chipped.
Our adoption fee is $350.00 each (cash or credit card)
HOW TO APPLY:
You can go directly to our website at www.waganimalrescue.com to fill out an application.
You must be at least 25 years old to apply.
IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a dog. A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. All of our animals are kept in foster homes.
