Rory is a quiet kitty that enjoys relaxing on the screened in section of his house. He is a little shy with strangers but warms up quickly when they sit down near him, talk to him, and gently pet him. When he does not have visitors to spend time with, he enjoys the company of the other cats and playing with toys. Rory is a happy kitty that needs a quiet, loving home of his own where he can spend the rest of his days!

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
