My name is Stella!

Stella was found with her two puppies, who were living on the street. We were told that her owners had abandoned her after moving away. The neighbors had been feeding her what they could, but they were unable to take her in because they already had dogs of their own. We aren't sure why her previous owners decided to just leave her, but it was definitely their loss.
When we first saw her, her face reminded us of the dog Benji from the movie. And now that we have gotten to know her, so does her personality. She is super sweet and has a very gentle demeanor. She would make a great family dog! She will need some refresher training as far as potty training goes, but she should pick it up quickly. She does well around other dogs and could easily be added to an existing pack.
She will be getting spayed and vaccinated in the coming weeks, since she is still nursing her puppies. She has been dewormed and is on a flea and tick preventative. She does not have any major health concerns that we are aware of.
