Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROMEO
If you are looking for love, look no further than Romeo! This boy is nothing but love and just wants to snuggle and get as close to you as he can. He thinks every person is his friend and runs to greet them to give them a big hug. He’s an amazing dog who is social, outgoing and doesn’t have a vicious, mean, or angry bone in his body.
Romeo also loves other dogs, big and small, and has been in a household with cats although they want nothing to do with him. He loves to play with his foster mom’s female Shih Tzu and we think with a proper introduction he will love the kitties, and the kitties will love him. Romeo has not been around small children. He may do just fine but may knock down little ones.
Romeo is crate trained and will often be seen going to sleep in it whether the door is open or not. He is also pretty much potty trained. He seems to lack the confidence to go outside on his own without somebody accompanying him and that’s something his foster mom is working on. He is very food and treat driven, so that is helping him with his house manners.
Romeo is recovering from a toe amputation on his left front paw after three out of five toes were broken. His outermost metacarpal bone was unfortunately shattered beyond repair. The other bones have healed, and Romeo does get around fine without his “pinky toe”. He can be walked, and he can run around just like any other normal pup. We don’t recommend him as a runner’s dog or a regular hiking partner, however.
We are all going to miss Romeo when he gets adopted as he’s been such a wonderful ambassador for us. He represents exactly what a rescue dog can be given a second chance.
If you’d like to meet Romeo, please fill out an adoption application on our website.
