Dandi is ready to find her forever home! Dandi is a 1 year old black tri Australian Shepherd who weighs approximately 40 lbs. She is being fostered in Soddy Daisy, TN. She is a sweet, shy girl. She is unique in her own way, as she has a little hitch in her get along! She has a hop when she walks. X-rays and a thorough vet exam were performed upon first coming to ASF and nothing was found to show any type abnormality nor any type of past injury. It doesn't affect her in any way, she just has her own way of walking...Dandi style! She also has a cute little natural bobtail!
She is a happy girl who will shy away at first but once she warms up, she is all in for cuddles and kisses. She gets along well with other dogs and has been uninterested in the cats. She has not had a lot of exposure to children but with her happy-go-lucky personality, she should be fine with older children.
She is housebroken and crate trained. She does well in our fenced backyard when she's outdoors and doesn't try to climb or dig. She does ok on the leash and with a little more training, she should do well.
The perfect home for Dandi will be one where she can be part of the family. Someone who has quality time to spend with her to let her true personality shine through. She will make a wonderful companion!
Dandi is spayed and completely up to date on all vetting. She has had all of her vaccinations, is microchipped and on monthly heartworm prevention.
