Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Another one of the "12" is ready to find a family to call her own - sweet Millie. As with the rest of them she came to us in horrendous shape - had a pyometra (uterine infection) and needed some major dental work - but all that is done and she is a healthy girl looking for her happy ever after.
Millie is estimated to be around 5 years old and we do believe they are all poodle/shih tzu mixes. She is 17 pounds. We do believe Millie would be best as an only dog as she wants all the attention but who can blame her after where she came from - once they start getting that attention - they latch onto it. Her fosters do believe she would do better with a fenced in yard as well
Here is what Millie's foster had to say about her:
Millie loves back rubs and scratches behind the ears. She just wants to be near you at all times, she loves to sit back and watch what is going on. She looks forward to mealtime and likes to lay in the sun. She can use a dog door and has been good pottying outside and on pee pad. She too loves to sleep on a warm blanket at the foot of the bed. She does not like being alone! She has been hesitant of other dogs and doesn’t get along too well with our original group but I truly think it’s due to fighting over attention. She will definitely bark if she is not getting her way.
Millie's adoption fee is $250.00 - she is spayed, has had her major dental work done, bloodwork, dewormed, current on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention, microchipped
If you are interested in adopting this girl please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. We do not set up meet and greets until the application is received and reviewed. We do require vet references and a home visit as well
All of our foster pups are located in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility (hence please do not show up at my house at 10pm and ask if you can pick up Millie 🙂 )
