My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to complete the Adoption Application***

This cute, chubby little gal is such a little doll! She has really found her love for attention and affection. Dora is very easy going and gets along wonderfully with her kitty companions.  She'd love nothing more than humans to cuddle her & a playful kitty friend in a home setting. Dora came from a home with just too many animals.  Dora is spayed, current on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. As always, all cat & kitten adoption fees are a free will donation for approved applicants.

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
