My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed

Twiggy, DOB 04/09/2022, is a shy girl who is very independent and knows her own wants and desires. When she is in the mood she enjoys being petted. Twiggy likes being in the company of other felines and the people she deems worthy of her company. She does not like being picked up and held. Twiggy loves toys and playing with them and her best buddy Birches. Birches could be her twin if she was a few pounds bigger.

Twiggy would do better in a calm home setting with no children or dogs.

Twiggy's mother who was a feral showed up at her human feeder's home during a cold rainstorm seeking help for her and her infant daughter. The human was able to get them into a carrier and into her home. She set them up in a cat condo until she was able to find a foster to better care for them as she could not have any more animals in her home.

Dallas Cat Rescue, dba Cat Matchers is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals. We will accomplish this:

through programs to rescue, spay/neuter and adopt out animals in need.
by supporting spay/neuter programs to try and reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year or left homeless.
The goal is to turn disposable animals into lifelong companions.
