Mel!

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed

Mel, DOB 8/28/2019 is a sweet goofy boy who is full of energy and always looking for an adventure. He loves to cuddle and be petted. Mel can be shy when he initially meets a new person, but quickly warms up to them. Everyone that has met Mel falls in love with him. He loves running around the house exploring and climbing. 

Mel would do best in a home that can handle a high energy cat. He would prefer a home with a feline companion but could be on his own. Mel does not do well with young children as they make him anxious. He does not like crowds. 

Mel started out life as part of a stray/feral colony. When he was trapped to be neutered it became clear to the volunteer that Mel had the potential to become more socialized and adoptable. The volunteer became his foster and worked with him until he accepted that he actually enjoyed affection and now he craves it often.
