Meet Katie!! This delightful duo is a courtesy post for Luck of The Irish Rescue, www.luckirishrescue.org, in Purcellville VA.

She's the girl next door. Super sweet, social, always there for anything you need. The BFF who makes you feel good when you've had an off-day. The best listener. Honestly, her human job would be a bartender because she has an amazing way of making everyone feel sensational. Katie is a 3 year old, 10 lb dachsund mix. She absolutely loves walks, snuggles, bedtime cuddles, and will give as much affection as you want to receive. She loves her pup friends but is adamant that CATS ARE NOT HER THING! Katie is the girl that will bring love and laughter into your home . You will feel like you won the lottery making her a member of your family. She love walks & all her toys. Her favorite thing is her trips to the pet store. This is a girl who could do so doggy time though -- she's been known to "grab and run" with things on the bottom shelf of the store, especially the bones & stuffed toys. Honestly, she doesn't understand what the issue is. If it's not meant to be touched and played with, it shouldn't be at ground level -- right !?! She wants to know what the difference between playing at the store and playing at home. Silly humans!!! Katie is also a little bit of a fashionista & can't wait to show you her favorite green sweater. She thinks it'll make the best "adoption day photo". So what are you waiting for.
