Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Busco aka Howie!!
Busco aka Howie is a recent addition to the Animal House Sanctuary Family. Once we have gotten to know Busco aka Howie a little better, we will share more details. Getting to know Busco aka Howie is going to be a great experience for us!!
Meet Busco, or as we call him Howie. currently weights 17-pound, at 5.5 month-old, and believed to be a blend of Jack Russle, hound chihuahua, Dashund terrier....... your guess is as good as ours. He is the sweetest but extremely smart, very eager to please and food motivated. Howie is persistent and mind blowing smart. He is a third and very persuasive at anything he sets his mind on. He enjoys snuggles and cuddling as much as he enjoys outdoor activities, long walks and hikes. He is just adorable!! And his gentle easy going personality is just as perfect as he is.
Howie is outgoing playful happy go lucky and always eager to please and happy to meet and make friends with everyone and anyone. I'm not kidding when I say he is mega smart. He is crate and house-trained for the most part. He also walks great on a leash. Howie is amazing with dogs, cats, and small critters and bird flocks as well as all humans including children. He understands boundries and correction given by all the animal residents at the sanctuary. He is a follower and needs a playful balance buddy in the home. A fenced in yard is preferred.
Excellent on car rides too

We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important.
Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
