My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jojo! Jojo is a handsome gray and white cat about 2 - 3 years old. He has been with us for 2 years. All of his siblings have long been adopted and he doesn't understand why he is still waiting for his family to find him.

Jojo came to us last August 2022 from a high-kill shelter with a few other cats that he lived with. He was very shy and spent a good deal of time in his foster home hiding under the bed. We don't know much about his past or what he's been through, but he is no longer the shy guy and now loves affection and attention.

Jojo loves other cats and is a positive kind of guy - always wanting to give head butts and be pet. He is a lovebug once he gets to know you. He will greet you at the door when you come home, rub up against you for a hug, and follow you around the house, watching your every move. Jojo  has a heart murmur, but it doesn't affect him at all.

Jojo needs a quiet, low activity home. He can be with other cat friends or be by himself - he is happy either way. He just wants to be loved.

He is neutered, has his FVRCP and rabies vaccines, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. There is a discount on his adoption fee. Interested in loving this sweet boy?

Please contact us at GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420. Jojo has been with us for 2 years and is waiting for his family to find him. He hopes it is **you.**

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
