My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spring is coming & we have the best little Blossom ready to plant herself in your lap! Celebrate the sun & the change of season with this beautiful 8 year old, 10lb girl full of spunk. Just imagine how she will dress up your yard. Your neighbors will envy your new cream puff walking by your side at sunset every day. Blossom would love to make you look like a million more bucks! Blossom is a Chihuahua/terrier mix full of sweetness & personality. She plays well with other compatible dogs but likes to let them know that she is the keeper of the lap & the leader of the pack. She came to us from the county shelter when an owner decided not to pick up her & her sibling. She had some skin & ear issues that needed attention & we got on it right away. Now cleared up, she still gets regular medicated baths at her foster place. She gives love in return. Blossom walks well on a leash, likes to "taste" goodies on the ground & beware...occasionally your ankles. As smart as she is she still needs work on "stay". Being an adventurous girl, she sees the outside world as an opportunity to travel. Since you probably don't want to chase her down the street, we will work hard to make sure the right home is reminded to continue training & watch those doors! She would love a fenced yard if you happen to have one. It's time to grow your family tree & add a new Blossom. Adopt this fuzzy girl & spice up your life. She was adopted once & returned due to skin issues & getting loose. Both of those require a little extra care & attention for the right person who loves her more than enough. She is tinkle trained if given the opportunity to visit the outdoors frequently & is pee pad trained for indoors as well. And yes, a crate is her friend when you go out for a few hours. Perfect right? Give Blossom a chance to warm up your life. She is up to date on shots, fecal tested, on heartworm preventative, Flea preventative & is spayed and chipped. Her skin may require medicated baths, allergy meds and skin injections (cytopoint) every six months but she is worth it! May require diet without allergens - usually salmon or fish is best. Little Blossom is fostered in the Myrtle Beach area and would make a lucky someone a wonderful companion. An approved application, home visit, and an adoption donation of $150 is required.
