Hi! Meet George! He is a courtesy post for Luck of The Irish Rescue in Purcellville VA.

My name is George and I'm a super sweet and healthy 5-year-old, 30 pound, Cockapoo mix who loves walks, car rides, playing, going to the PetStore (or anywhere that has/gives treats!) & cuddling. If I had a human occupation it would be an aeronautical engineer who loves sports! I'm super smart, very intuitive, know all my behavior commands and I'd like a quieter environment as the only dog/animal in your house. My owner, who I adored & who loved me immensely, passed away recently & that rocked my world. I have so much love to give & I can't wait to find my new person - that would only be 1-2 adults, no kids. I have a few favorite sports teams in football, basketball & baseball! Would be happy to be your sports buddy curled up on the couch watching the game with you. Speaking of balls, my foster mom is convinced I have retriever in my dna because of how much I love to run after, fetch and bring balls back to you! Wow, I could do that all day if you were game! Did I ask if you have you ever seen such a sweet face. I can't wait to meet yours and will even share kisses on the first date.
